DMP Tunes probably holds the record for the number of reviews in this blog for one artist!
But he does keep delivering big epic floor fillas like The Joker.
Huge loud production, tidal waves of Trance-oriented synths, pulsating machine gun beats and a soulful female vocal to boot, this has everything including the kitchen sink thrown in, even switching between 4/4 and 6/8 time without losing its thread.
It jumps out of the speakers at me and suddenly my office resembles a massive Mediterranean club! You just can’t hide from dance music as good as this.

Well look, he keeps on dropping great tracks so what is a blogger to do?!

This is the night is another from his Xanadu album and it has all the elements I love about DMP Tunes.

High tempo beat, big reverberant Trance-oriented synths, a cheerful avalanche of sound that comes in waves, long drum fills occasional sirens, and vocals that come in midway into the track to add some extra meat to the bone.

The English producer and musician DMP Tunes presents his latest work in electronic music under the overall name Searching For Serenity. Currently still as a playlist in the composition of various single releases, a holistic release is due soon, whereby the focus should now be on the individual songs.
But who is behind DMP Tunes, the English producer, composer and sound designer got in touch with music at a young age when he started playing various brass instruments.
At the age of 15 he learned to play the piano, synthesizer and organs and then at the age of 16 he owned his first digital synthesizer: the Yamaha HX-1. T

The ever-consistent and prolific DMP Tunes is the recording alias of Daivid Petitjean.
Lately, he has seen his talent rewarded with serious label interest and contract offers on the table so exciting times ahead.
Meanwhile, he has dropped Reality, a joyously loud and fluid slice of Trance leaning into Euro House with some of my favourite synth and drum sounds surrounded by ambient effects.
It gallops through a series of shifts in mood and style, all at the same fast tempo.
From the album Xanadu it’s another reminder of David’s talent for turning out irresistibly choooonful club anthems.
This would fill floors across Ibiza if lockdown were lifted.

The Soundcloud page for DMP Tunes is a tad confusing and I am still not entirely sure whether they are a band, a label, a collective, or a single producer!
​
But what I do know is they sent in the track Dreams from the album Ludum Vitae and it has a Robert Miles meets Paul Van Dyk vibe but with sufficient state-of-the-art sounds to bring it back into 2020.
As it builds and the classic Euro-Synths, briefly wash over the piano, it is both nostalgic and fresh.

If we weren’t in lockdown this could be tearing up dancefloors all summer.
